I can't recommend Burke Moving Company enough. Back in August I contacted 8 different moving companies to get quotes. Half of them had a pre-recorded message and the other few sounds uninterested in speaking to me. But, when I called Burke, I was immediately greeted by Charles Burke himself. He spent a good 10-15min on the phone with me walking through the logistics of my move and gave me a very reasonable quote.  Fast forward 3 weeks and we find out that we're going to be delayed in closing. I called Charles and he said "not a problem, you just let me know what works for you and we'll make it happen". Unfortunately that happened 3 more times but Charles continued to be responsive and flexible.  When we finally managed to close on our house and settle on a moving date, Charles showed up himself (on time) with 2 of his guys. All 3 of them were professional, courteous, communicative, friendly, and careful of our belongings. The move was completely without incident. Not a single item was damaged, which is impressive given we were moving from a 3 floor townhome to a 3rd floor walk-up.  To top it off, Charles and one of his guys even stayed a bit late to help me assemble our new bed so we could sleep on it our first night in the new house. I cannot recommend this company enough and while I hope not to have to hire a moving company for at least a few years, Charles will be my first and only call.
